Jessica Loney, RN, MSN
“Do what you love, and never work a day in your life,” is my guiding philosophy. I think of each day as a new opportunity to bring about positive change in the health of our communities. As a community health education coordinator at Mid Coast Hospital, I bring ten years of clinical nursing experience into everything that I do. I have learned to appreciate the value of health promotion and disease prevention. As co-chair of the hospital’s Cultural Competence Committee and co-chair of the NAACP Health Committee I have also become an advocate for culturally diverse and other vulnerable populations. I realize that everyone needs access to the resources that provide for a healthy life. I hope to help influence a move towards health equity for all.
